Adam Payne is proud to be your local and professional Pillar To Post home inspector. Adam grew up around real estate, with his stepfather custom-building homes and his grandfather investing in real estate. Growing up around real estate, Adam discovered he had a natural understanding of a home’s systems and how they work, as well as an ability to teach and communicate these things to someone less experienced. These natural abilities collided with his love of helping people, a pleasure for investigative work, and a disdain for sitting at a desk, which all led him to professional home inspection, a career and lifestyle he truly enjoys.
It is Adam’s goal to provide a thorough inspection without scaring or driving clients away, because every home, regardless of condition, has a market value. He knows it’s his job to teach his clients about the condition of the home, not make the purchase decision for them.
In Adam’s free time, he can be found spending time with his family. He is active in his church, Corinth Reformed Church in Hickory, where he serves on the audio/visual team, as well as leads a Wilderness Ministry. Whether hiking, biking, paddling, or just exploring a new town with his wife, Sarah, and their two kids, Adam has an ever-present craving for adventure.
